Beginner Cricut Class - Includes Cartridge!

Does this sound like you: You want to have the latest and greatest supplies, so you bought a Cricut and some cartridges…but you've never used them. Are you intimidated by it? Not sure what all the buttons do? Do you avoid looking at it entirely??

We can help! Learn to expand your creativity and make good use of your Cricut! This is a BEGINNER class. We will review basics like: how each of the buttons function; how to care for your machine and mat; how different papers work in the machine and pressure/speed controls. Then we'll put our new skills to work by making four cards (even two envelopes!) using the Cricut.

We will be using the Cricut Sampler Cartridge. This excellent cartridge provides a sample from some of Cricut's most popular cartridges. And bonus: YOU KEEP THE CARTRIDGE! That's right - you keep the brand new cartridge to continue your Cricut education.

Supplies needed: Your own Cricut (doesn't matter which one you own); a GOOD cutting mat; adhesive that works well for tiny areas; scissors. If you need a new mat, Crops Plus will be selling them at the crop for a discount ($4 for a 6x12 mat and $5 for a 12x12 mat) as well as the perfect glue pen. The class area will be wired for electricity.

Drop Spine Box Workshop

Enjoy spring blooms throughout the year when you create this fun-to-make Drop Spine Box. No doubt, it will be a favorite place to keep precious mementos or those special handmade cards. The box compartment measures 4.5 x 6.5 inches and is the perfect home for a small photo album. I used leaf green and shades of violet to color the stamped art images. The flower centers are embellished with glossy effects. Your creation can reflect your spring color favorites.

Supplies needed: scissors, ruler, pencil and bone folder

CTMH 'Wings' Level 1 Flip Flap Double Layout

Have you heard the NEWS... Close To My Heart has a wonderful new, and very innovative product called Flip Flaps Assortments ((Z1325) and they are only $3.95 plus s/t. Inside a full package, you get 2 - 12"x4", 4 - 12"x6", and 2 - 12"x8" Flip Flaps! They are so much fun and so very easy to work with AND they allow you to add more pictures to your layouts!

In this class you will be introduced to creative ways to use Creative Memories new Page Planners, exclusive Bright Autumn Photo Mats and borders, and their new Cheerful Seasons Cricut cartridge. Tools Needed: Trimmer, Liquid Adhesive, Tape Runner , pencil, and brown ink pad (optional).
