Class: Love Files Dos-a-dos album
Date: Saturday, January 31st
Time: 7:30 - 9:00pm
Class Fee: $20
Instructor: Kathryn, Kathryn Scraps
Kathryn's upcoming "Love Files" class teaches four
classic bookbinding techniques! Join her at Crops Plus this January to
make the unique dos-a-dos style album from this series and get the
instructions for three more albums and a storage box as a bonus!
“Dos-a-dos” is French for "back to back" and refers
to a traditional bookbinding style popular in the 18th century where
two books share one spine. In this class, Kathryn will show you how to
get this unique look with Kraft-Tex and watercolor paper. This 4 ½” x 6
½” album is perfect for an art journaling, for filling with 4"x6" photos
to give as a gift or just throw it in your purse and carry your
memories with you. The two books can be used to show two sides of one
story for a fun twist on album design.
In this class, you'll get the Kraft-Tex, watercolor
paper and snaps you need to make a dos-a-dos album of your own. Kathryn
will be on hand to walk you through the sewn spine and will have all
the traditional book binding tools you need. As a special BONUS, you'll
also receive the entire upcoming (to be released in February) Love Files
tutorial which includes three additional book binding methods and a
storage box you can make at home.
Skill Level:
This is a super simple and fun project perfect for crafters of all levels.
Supplies:

What You Learn:
Kathryn will teach you how to assemble the unique
