Come play in my "Flower Garden" and I'll help you create your own pretty display of 8 different paper and ribbon flowers! Your class kit includes everything you need to create one of these CTMH Mix and Mingle albums AND lots of leftover product!

You will be able to choose from the shown below project, using the really bright and colorful Hollyhock and Blush (pink), Goldrush (orange), and Pear (green) color scheme from CTMH's "Sophia" Paper pack...

OR… you can choose to create yours with a Crystal Blue, Heavenly Blue and Sweet Leaf aka CTMH's "Miracle" Paper pack (some flowers shown in "Miracle" above). PLEASE be sure to let Barb know which paper you would like to use when creating your Flower Garden!

This project can be created and used in either the horizontal way shown in the picture enclosed… on a book case or in your craft room, or you can hang it vertically on your wall!

Please bring the following to class: Scissors, a bunch of CLEAR adhesive, small pop dots (or at least something you can cut smaller) and Liquid Glass...

Does this sound like you: You want to have the latest and greatest supplies, so you bought a Cricut and some cartridges…but you've never used them. Are you intimidated by it? Not sure what all the buttons do? Do you avoid looking at it entirely??

We can help! Learn to expand your creativity and make good use of your Cricut! This is a BEGINNER class. We will review basics like: how each of the buttons function; how to care for your machine and mat; how different papers work in the machine and pressure/speed controls. Then we'll put our new skills to work by making three cards (even an envelope!) using the Cricut.

(Cards pictured here are examples - actual cards to be made will be posted later)

We will be using the Cricut Sampler Cartridge. This excellent cartridge provides a sample from some of Cricut's most popular cartridges. And bonus: YOU KEEP THE CARTRIDGE! That's right - you keep the brand new cartridge to continue your Cricut education.

Supplies needed: Your own Cricut (we'll be working with the BASICS of the small Cricut or Cricut expression. Please bring your own.); a GOOD cutting mat; adhesive that works well for tiny areas; scissors. The class area will be wired for electricity.

2 Double Layouts using Flip Flaps Class

As we approach Thanksgiving, we are always reminded of the many things we are THANKFUL for... Here's your opportunity to add them to your scrapbooks!

In this workshop, you will create 2 complete double layouts, and with using CTMH's AWESOME Flip Flaps, they will only take up the space of one double layout! AND you will have enough product left over to create some Thanksgiving cards, or another layout!

Using Close To My Heart's 2011 National Scrapbooking Month Special called "You and Me"; 2 of the (now retired) My Creations 3 Ring Binders; and some extra cardstock... You will create these 2 albums that will make beautiful, and very memorable gifts for 2 of those special friend or family members on your list!

The "You and Me" kits come with the very beautiful "You and Me" Pattern Paper, gorgeous brown and cream striped ribbon, Dimensional Elements (chipboard), Mocha Opaques (Pearls) and an exclusive stamp set that you get to keep!

This album is filled with products and techniques from My Mind’s Eye, Basically Bare, Ranger Industries, Tim Holtz, Claudine Hellmuth and more. The Love Me Do paper line has bright colors, fun patterns, and delightful images that will surely make you smile. Basically Bare was named one of the Scrapbook Update CHA Summer 2011 Hot Picks – the class will be taught by a Basically Bare Endorsed Educator and Certified Ranger Instructor.

Join Embellished KeepSakes for this fun filled chipboard album class. The book size is 6x10 and has 5 chipboard pages giving us a 10 page album. We will cover the book with the new Bo Bunny “Ad Lib” collection, not the paper set shown here.

This book is loaded with technique. We will be using paint dabbers, chipboard laser cuts, distressing inks, I-rock tool from Imaginisce, Zutter’s distress it all tool and so much more. We will embellish and decorate each page in the class and then bind it with the Cinch binding tool from We R Memory Keepers. Techniques Galore!

Ready to get inky? In this class we'll be teaching you over a dozen great inking techniques you can apply to any project. You'll make a booklet of tags, complete with instructions, that you can refer back to again and again. Plus, you're class fee includes a Tim Holtz Distress Ink pad, a brand-new bottle of Tim Holtz Distress Stain, AND a specially-made surprise stamp.

We'll using products from Tim Holtz, Ranger and Sizzix, such as inks, alcohol inks, Distress Stains, Perfect Pearls and Perfect Pearls Mists, Texture Fades and dies. We'll also have his Vagabond die cutting machine on hand to use during the class.

The techniques will cover blending and stamping with the inks, including what to use and when;
adding a little shine via mists and powders; embossing/debossing, stamping and inking with Texture Fades; resists; and using inks with materials other than paper, such as Tissue Tape and ribbon.

You will walk out of the class not only knowing how to use Ranger products, but with a Distress Ink inkpad, brand new Distress Stain, and a specially-made surprise stamp.

Supplies Needed:
If you have a Ranger blending tool, please bring it with you, as well as your favorite adhesive. We'll supply the rest!

Beginner Cricut Class - Includes Cartridge!

Does this sound like you: You want to have the latest and greatest supplies, so you bought a Cricut and some cartridges…but you've never used them. Are you intimidated by it? Not sure what all the buttons do? Do you avoid looking at it entirely??

We can help! Learn to expand your creativity and make good use of your Cricut! This is a BEGINNER class. We will review basics like: how each of the buttons function; how to care for your machine and mat; how different papers work in the machine and pressure/speed controls. Then we'll put our new skills to work by making four cards (even two envelopes!) using the Cricut.

We will be using the Cricut Sampler Cartridge. This excellent cartridge provides a sample from some of Cricut's most popular cartridges. And bonus: YOU KEEP THE CARTRIDGE! That's right - you keep the brand new cartridge to continue your Cricut education.

Supplies needed: Your own Cricut (doesn't matter which one you own); a GOOD cutting mat; adhesive that works well for tiny areas; scissors. If you need a new mat, Crops Plus will be selling them at the crop for a discount ($4 for a 6x12 mat and $5 for a 12x12 mat) as well as the perfect glue pen. The class area will be wired for electricity.

Hi Everyone!

I have had many of you ask me to teach this class... here is your chance! I am not sure of the day and time yet, hopefully some time on Saturday. The kit cost includes: 1 full paper pack; 1 set of coordinating Stickease; 1 stamp pad for distressing & stamping; Ribbon, waxy flax and twill; manilla envelopes; chipboard, and misc. embellishments. We will be selecting from 2 paper packages: 'Majestic Blue' (unlimited supplies) that is awesome for CRUISES, and 'Vintage Travel' (minimal supplies - first come, first serve) that is great for any Travel - especially European. Both papers are shown in the slide show. The Alaska Journal is made using 'Majestic Blue' and the Med. Cruise is 'Vintage Travel'.

PLEASE bring the following to class: 12" Cutter, scissors, LOTS of Permanent Adhesive (ex: Scotch double sided tape, Tombow Permanent adhesive, Book Binding glue) and a regular size hole punch, or the orange Cropadile.

Have you ever taken notes on a flimsy notebook, only to get frustrated because you couldn't write good enough to read your own writing? Well, this is the board for you! Just wait till you see it up close and personal!

Choose the paper pack of your choice from the Idea Book & Catalog or Occasions Mini. You'll have enough supplies to make an additional Board on your own with lots of beautiful scrapbook papers to use as well.

Supplies needed: Crop-A-Dile, glue stick, 1/8" hole punch, scissors, paper trimmer, utility knife, bone folder.

Earlybird class fee is $30 until February 12. After that, fee goes to $35.

We all love organizing with fun/pretty things... This is a very useful, pretty and colorful way to do that! We will be creating a 12x12 Dry Erase Board that you can put up in your Kitchen, Office or Craft Room - just to mention a few... and it can be easily recreated to be used as a gift!

The kit includes 1 frame, 1/2 of a paper kit and embellishments, and use of my stamps and inks... You should have a good bit of paper left to recreate additional boards (you can purchase additional frames later) or to use in making a layout or 2, on your own!

Above is a picture of an example, yours can be made using the same or different paper, and you can also title your board according to what you will be using it for! Example: You won't need Grocery list if this is for your craft room...

I will have multiple paper packets to chose from, and those will be chosen on a first come, first serve basis, as class begins!

This is the awesome Club Scrap Triptych Album that we completed last Saturday at Crops Plus. We had some great students with plans for decorating this neat little album with subjects ranging from Croquet Tournaments to a trip to Sesame Place!
